Rib pain

How are people coping with breech babies heads up in your ribs? 37+3 now and finding it so uncomfortable at times. Her head is right up in my ribs this evening 😖

Honestly this was the most painful, uncomfortable time! I thought I had gallstones it was that painful, turns out it was just baby’s head! Those last few weeks went by really slowly as I also had a chest infection - baby’s head was up in my diaphragm! The only thing I can tell you is that the pain goes away instantly when they pop out! Hang on in there 💪🏼

Ugh it sucks hey! I found taking off my bra helped a little. Also, I found it to be the worse when I was in the car. Perhaps the way I was sitting? Perhaps not sit haha

Wow I remember that well! I ended up having a c section and when they pulled her out I felt instant relief! Poor girl had one ear flat in because of how she was squished up there. Not much advice to give sorry but hang on in there!

Thanks other than lying down not much else seems to help 😥 have my C-section date so on the countdown to get my ribcage back to myself 🤣

I'm 34+2 and the struggle is real, I'm sending turning thoughts its honestly sometimes like alien 👽

@Rachel good luck, hope the wee one turns for you! My girl has been very stubborn 😂

I feel the same. I find that getting on my knees and leaning forward with head to the ground helps relieve the pressure in the ribs.

Out of 9 babies off my last baby is breech. I'm in so much pain.. at times I just cry 😢 can't move or eat. I get so worries about her legs and hips.. what happens if she's born with her legs all spread out.. I'd feel horrible for not providing her a safe place inside me. Just a lot weighing on my heart. I'm 34 weeks Monday and she's a massive 7.5 lbs already. So she doesn't have the extra moving room like other 34 weekers...ugh

@Misty Rae sorry to hear that hopefully the baby somehow manages to turn! It sucks but these things are outwith our control, can only hope for the best outcome. Have they offered you an ECV?

They say I have to go to a Chiropractic That actually does the EVC because I've had AC. Section, my doctors not willing to touch me

I don't see what a sea section is. Stopping him for me priorly having before. But that says excuse for not wanting to turn my baby.
