What to expect from first FET?
Hi all! New to the group. I’ve just booked in for my first FET, first appointment 26th March. I’ve had three rounds of IVF/ICSI previously. The last one ended with a “freeze all” scenario because my uterine lining was too thin (a persistent problem for me). It’s been 10 months since was last in treatment as I really needed the break. Previous transfers were all fresh, so I’m wondering what to expect from a constructed FET? Looks like I’ll be on tablets and patches to get my estrogen up, and viagra to get it all flowing to the uterus. Anyone been on a similar FET protocol who can share? How did you feel throughout? How long did it all take? TIA 🥰

My FET experience/protocol: Provera and Buserelin in prep month, on Day 3 after baseline started estrogen tablets and blood thinners and continued reduced dose Buserelin. Day 12 scan- lining too thin so stopped Buserelin, added estrogen patches and vit e supplement. 3 days later all clear on lining. Added progesterone in suppository and Lubion for 6 days. On 6th day transfer with pain meds and continue on all meds until negative test or 10/12 weeks of pregnancy (schedule tapering of meds). I feel fine throughout, don’t feel effects like stims. But the blood thinner injections are killer, sore tummy and bruises everywhere.
