So our little boy has recently started going to bed earlier and sleeping for longer. This means I am struggling to fit in 5 x 7oz bottles into the day anymore. So we have moved to 4 x 8oz bottles plus one meal a day. 32 oz in total. He drains all the bottles each time. I'm worried I'm not giving him enough now. Does this sound about right? Should I be giving him a bottle alongside his meal? š¤·āāļø

My LO has been on 4 x 8oz bottles a day for about a month now (his last bottle has recently increased to 9oz). Still not showing much interest in food so can't even say we have one meal. He is in the 85th percentile for weight and thriving š

If heās 6 months I think thatās the recommended anyway. As generally when they have established weaning you tend to drop the 5th bottle.
Back of my formula tub says 6 months- 4 feeds at 8oz. Xx

My LO is 6 months i do
7ozBottle
Porridge then fruit
Jar meal 5oz bottle
Another jar with snacks
7oz bottle then bed
Obviously replacing food for bottles if the food isnt wanted

My boy has been on 4 bottles a day since around 4 months was on 8oz but dropped down to 7oz now as he has food twice a day

Sounds like enough milk. Just remember food shouldnāt replace milk yet. They still need it as their main food source until 1.

Iām having the same issue, I ended up squeezing 2 close together but heās been leaking through his nappy as I think itās too much, Iāll move onto 8, could possibly do like 9 for morning and bedtime one too? X
