Sleepwear
Can someone please help me figure out what my baby should be wearing to be bed at 3 days old. At the hospital his temp was low so they wrapped him up in 2 or 3 blankets and a towel over the top and kept wanting to make him as warm as possible and the ward was boiling (well felt it! ) It levelled out and we are home now but I don’t know what he should be wearing!! Is a best, babygrow and blanket in a room sitting st 19.7 degrees according to thermo. I know there’s charts out there to follow but all say different things

My midwife told us babe should always be in one layer more than us. So at night say a vest, baby grow and a blanket if you have pjs and a blanket. In the summer you'd reduce it slightly. Also depends on baby. Mine is a sweaty baby. Right now he's in a short sleeved vest and some short leggings. Any more and he sweats through his clothes x
Vest, baby grow & sleeping bag we do at night & our room is around 20 degrees. Day time is whatever she’s wearing so usually vest with long sleeve top, pants & socks then I attempt a blanket but she kicks them off 🤣 best thing is feel his chest to see if he feels warm or cold. They’ll cry if they’re cold too x
