Don’t stress yourself about it. It’s nothing else than a social media trend. Not a well researched or medically recommended thing at all.
As all social media trends, it makes you feel FOMO and puts you under pressure by nature.

I understand BLW is not for everyone, but the idea of leaving the choice of feeding to the child is out there since 1939, when a Canadian publication showed that self-selection of foods by the infant can lead to good health and satisfactory growth. In the 1980s many families were already using this method to help the babies feed, and in the early 2000 the majority of pediatric nutritionist were suggesting this method over the mashed food one.
I personally think, like everything in this world, this should be done with though and moderation. If BLW stresses you dont do it, feeding purees is absolutely fine! Just try to eat with baby, don't use already done pouches, but cook your own food (and smash the portion for baby) so you'll still be eating the same (and maybe if they want they could grab a piece of your steamed cauliflower, while having their pureed one). Don't follow social media, only use them if they can help you. You are the only one that knows what's good for you. X
I proudly only do purees with spoon, and don’t stress about it az all. Just feel sorry for many parents who seem to be confused and stressed by the pressure.
I know a different history of blw: https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20230728-baby-led-weaning-what-are-the-risks-and-benefits
