14 month old still not walking

My son is 14 months as well. In the playpen he runs around holding on to it and not letting go really and he’ll take like 2 steps by himself every once in a while, I don’t have any advice but I definitely feel your pain.

My little guy only just started, and even so he still prefers crawling most of the time. He can only do a few steps at a time. Don’t feel disheartened! My brother didn’t start walking until he was 16 months. Every baby is unique in terms of when they’ll reach milestones.

15 months they're only expected to take 1-2 independent steps. Full on walking is great but it isn't technically a delay yet. We're in the same boat and we've just been giving her more things to build her confidence as she can cruise one handed no problem

If it makes you feel better my baby just started furniture surfing. She won’t even let me do the exercises to get her to walk and she only stand independently on our bed never the floor. We can’t even get 1 assisted step because she’ll rag doll. So don’t feel disheartened they’ll get there I promise!

speak to your pediatrician to get evaluated for physical therapy. my Son is also not walking (other the. with a walking he pushes) and it’s due to weak ankles, hips and core and is getting ready to start physical therapy.

we also aren’t talking and they say gross motor delays effect a lot of other areas

Is he pushing items? We didn’t get a walker or anything for my little boy. Where we live has faux hardwood floors so we just let him push a chair around until he got motivated to let it go. Allow them to climb, coast, and do other activities that will build those core and lower body muscles. Other than that, a lot of babies do stuff on their own time.☺️

Same here so don’t feel bad. My Lo will hold on a push stuff around but has not taken any steps on her own

Take them to a park where there’s other kids their size and age running around. I did that with my son a few times (he’s an observer type that loves to watch and observe before getting involved) and he watched how the other kids would get up and walk around and run. Every time I did that I saw a huge leap in his efforts.
