My new least favorite question

Have you had the baby yet? It’s just one of those things that gets me so irritated. I’ve told everyone I’d let them know they don’t need to keep asking!

Lmao me too! And then it's always followed with some version of "you must be so uncomfortable" yeah thanks I forgot to think about it for 8 seconds 😅

Agreed! Went to a family event last night and got a lot of dumb comments.... "Wow your belly is so huge" "you look uncomfortable" "I bet you're so ready to pop" "you still haven't had that kid yet!" "I'm gonna drive u down a bumpy road" "why don't u just reach up and yank him out"... Wtf. People just don't think before they speak!

Omg sameeee, especially when they just saw me walk in with this huge belly 🙄 like why do they think we wouldn’t announce something like that 🙄😂😂😂 it’s like wtf

Yes! Currently struggling not to lose my mind with my mom and MIL who have started texting me daily to see if there's any changes. After already being told I will LET YOU KNOW as soooon as anything changes or I have any signs of active labor. They mean well and are just excited and I get that but dang I'm the one miserable, don't you think I want to be able to tell you good news just as much. The pressure for something to be happening is starting to drive me insane.

So many folks called me yesterday! And my mom found my midwife’s email online and tried to talk to her directly because I stopped responding 🤦‍♀️ We went out to eat and at this point (40+5) I think people just feel bad for me haha they want to know the due date because of the long face, not the cute baby bump

Confused Over Test Result

My heads pretty blagged about this atm. I’ve had spotting & some cramping but of the 2 tests I’d have expected the clear blue one to be most accurate. Any advice?

SPPH (secondary postpartum haemorrhage) due to retained placenta -D&C?

Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this? Currently trying to pass retained tissue ( 4 weeks pp) and finding every day so exhausting just constantly waiting and checking my bleeding. I stopped bleeding on week 2.5/3 then bleeding picked up last Saturday and I haemorrhaged on Thursday morning with a rush to hospital. Everyday since I’m waking up scared I’ll be bleeding out. Worried to go toilet to check, I’m not convinced I’ll be passing it naturally and I’m worried I’ll need a D&C… has anyone had this? My retained tissue is 2cm so they said it’s small but I have no signs of passing it or blood changing colour to show slowing down.

39 weeks pregnant FTM

39 weeks baby hasn’t come yet and I am just full of anxiety. I am trying to relax. I am trying to chill, but I can’t chill. I do not want to be induced. I would love to have her natural. Issue is I am tight down there and petite and baby is measuring big like the head especially. I know that measurements can be off. But I have photos! And she is a chunk. This is so unpredictable. How do I just put my faith forward and trust in God and how do I let go of this anxiety? I am doing fine and then boom it hits me and I want to ball my eyes out. I am trying to treat myself and do little things but driving or doing anything is so hard now and I’m so huge and uncomfortable …I’m at my breaking point 😭

Palpitations and out of breath

Anyone else dealing with heart palpitations and running out of breath super quickly?

I already spoke to my midwife, and they put me on magnesium and extra electrolytes and said if it doesn’t help, to tell them again. I have my next OB appointment on Tuesday and I plan on bringing it back up when I see her then, but I feel like my shortness of breath has just gotten increasingly worse and the dizziness is now off and on when I used to not get it before.

Anyone else has that experience?

I am 30 weeks on Wednesday (March 25) with a C-section scheduled for end of May.
