Anyone had a subchorionic hematoma?

I had one as well! And it came with so much anxiety because of the bleeding. Thankfully they reassured me that this is very common but sometimes can continue on throughout the pregnancy depending on the size of the hematoma. I’m 20 weeks and haven’t had bleeding in about 2 1/2 weeks. They told me it could still come with dark brown discharge if the clot isn’t fully gone. So I’m right with you mama and I’m praying for you! But I’m sure your baby is okay and healthy ✨🌻

That’s really sad to know. May i know what could have caused it? I use public bus daily, and have bumpy roads all the way. I worry a lot while i transit through bus.

During my first pregnancy, I had a similar experience starting from the first month. My doctor gave me medicine and told me to rest. I did what the doctor said, and by the fifth month, everything got better. So, stay positive, rest well, drink plenty of water, and follow your doctor's advice. Everything will be okay.

it’s can be completely random nothing you do wrong. I’ve been mostly house bound due to morning sickness and the bleeding started when I was relaxing on the sofa.

I had subchorionic hematoma with my first pregnancy and discovered it by my 5th week. Was prescribed progesterone and bed rest. It was very scary at some point because the spotting became heavy bleeding but it turned out it was all because of the hematoma. It went away by the 9th week and I continued to have a healthy pregnancy. Good luck!

Currently going through this same. I am 7 weeks and it’s scary 😟. I had a scan yesterday, having another one next week. EPU nurse said they might have to keep scanning me weekly
