2.5 year old lingering cough
My 2.5 year old toddler has had a lingering mucus cough for over 2 months. It wakes her up at night and can go on for like 30 mins nonstop. I have tried saline, humidifier nothing is working. I went to the docs twice about it, and they said because of the cold weather, the cold lingers ( which i dont believe), anyone else toddler been suffering with this, and any suggestion? I'm barely sleeping at night 😅

My daughters the same at the moment she has been to the doctors and was given antibiotics but she has been like it for monthssss!its a struggle but i think we gotta just ride it out x
We are the same! My little boy has been to the docs twice now. Just got to ride it out with vapour rub, calpol plug in and calpol 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Yes! My little boy has had a cough on and off since October last year, also been to the Drs twice and told it’s viral can take a while to go etc 🙄 he will cough sometimes during the night but worse when he gets up first thing!
You need a Dehumidifier not a humidifier. My son had a cough all year around then I got a dehumidifier a big one that drops the room from damp and sucks in moisture. Hope this helps x
