Anyone else dealing with severe constipation? My office is closed so I’m asking first thing Monday but nothing is helping. I’ve tried increasing my water intake, exercise, fiber supplements, and miralax. Anyone have any advice 😭

yeah it gets pretty bad, i still haven't figured it out but a lot of milk usually helps me (i'm lactose intolerant)

Yes I was a 5w😣

I drink some of that v8 greens juice and some organic carrot juice and it really helps me!

Prune juice and prunes, papaya

Colace might help. It helped me

Senokot Extra Strength Natural Vegetable Laxative

What about colace? It really helped me.

You can use miralax for a goal of one bowel movement up to a max of 2 times per day. Everyone’s gut is different so different people will need different amounts of it. Once you feel like you’re back to baseline I recommend Citrucel once a day; it’s a supplemental fiber like metameucil but generally has less issues with gas and bloating. My IBS patients who have gotten on it think it makes a big difference. Senna should NOT be on a regular (ie daily) basis as it is a stimulant laxative and when used regularly long term can lead to gut motility issues.

I find ground flaxseeds added to food, Calm (magnesium powder), and Colace to be helpful - but it is a struggle!
