me too! My due date is today so I’m just hoping it’s the start of actual labor😪. I will wait a little longer to see if it becomes painful

My midwife said if I’m talking through it and functioning, I’m not in labor. I haven’t had a baby in ten years, but when I recall the moment I went into labor, it was definitely unmistakable I was in labor.

Yes. I was in labor for 24 hours apparently. Got to my appointment and was already 5cm dilated. Still talking through contractions. Doctor was very shocked.

I have a very high pain tolerance though.

and this is what I’m afraid of because I also have GBS and they told me that I’d have to rush to the hospital if i was in actual labor 😅. I’m also a FTM so It’s nerve racking

I was having contractions during my NST on Friday and had no idea, the doctor pointed it out to me

Same. I'm a FTM had no idea what contractions were supposed to feel like. When the doc said I wouldn't be able to talk through them I didn't think anything of it because I was still able to talk. I say start timing them. The frequency and duration will give you an idea.

same doctor told me also, cannot walk or talk, water broke, headache, cannot see clearly, .......

When you get the real contractions...trust me...you'll know! I personally started shivering uncontrollably and barfed as well... but that's optional! It's a pain like no others!

Yes I never have extreme contractions

Update: I had my baby! so those were in fact, real contractions ! 😭
