Paracetamol
Throat spray
Saline nasal spray and/or inhale steam
Some antihistamines can help with the nasal congestion a bit, Loratidine and Cetirizine are both ok when breastfeeding
I find the Breathe Right nasal strips can be useful overnight

Baby has probably already got it from before you knew you were unwell. But your body will be producing antibodies and passing them on in your breast milk 😊 If you want to try to stop baby getting it, lots of hand washing, don’t kiss baby, wear a mask when holding baby… but it’s a lot of faff and probably too late anyway

Your baby shouldn't be getting it as your breastmilk will give him what's needed to fight it.
I was ill for a couple of days, like really unwell (had a high temperature, breaking bones, coughing, sneezing, etc), my baby did not catch any of that 😊.

yeah my baby was a bit sniffly before me so you’re probably right that she’s already had it
