When is time for Toys in crib?
Is there a safe time to introduce toys to the crib? My LO is almost 8mths and usually likes to play and talk to herself first thing in the morning but she has no toys in there atm. I feel like it would be nice if she could wake up and have her toys there, also if I bring them over then she’ll just want me to take her out of the crib and won’t play lol. Has anyone introduced toys yet? Or I’m thinking I could add a couple just before she wakes up - if I’m up lol

So technically they should not have anything in the crib before the age of 1 x
After one.If i put toys in there,my lo will wake up durning the night and play with them haha.Its totally up to you
Just pop some in there when she’s about to wake up . My health visitor recommended I give my daughter a comforter to hold to sleep as she is awful at night . Advice is varied x
hahaha did not think of that she probably would do that too!
yes I’ve started to let her hold on in the night but she doesn’t really play with it. I might try a little teddy to start and see what she does
I leave toys in there that I know is not something she could necessarily suffocate on and when she wakes up early ( every day) she doesn’t cry but instead plays with her toys for a few hours!
My girl has a comforter overnight and often one of the Matchstick Monkey teethers too, so she's often babbling to her comforter when she first wakes up haha
