Ttc with irregular periods

I’ve been trying to conceive for around 10 months now and it’s really getting me down! I have really irregular periods maybe a period every 2/3 months so I had one in December and then the start of March. The doctors don’t really want to help as I conceived my 1st baby naturally but I can’t help but think somethings wrong with the irregular periods and just not catching pregnant! I’ve tried ovulation tests but I was getting more than one peak in the month so it was confusing me! I have had bloods and scans done which all came back fine! But I’m just not getting pregnant! Has anything had this before with irregular periods?

I have long cycles about 35-50 days but got a clear peak. Your body is probably having a bit of difficulty ovulating so is trying multiple times before it manages to, then you get a period about 14 days later. Here is some info about different cycle types. https://premom.com/blogs/how-to-use-ovulation-tests/surges-and-peaks-gradual-onset
I would continue ovulation testing using the strip tests and track in premom. Your darkest strip test is your true peak which premom can identify for you. Each time you think you get a peak, treat it like it is as you won't know which is real until you get the last one in your cycle. I'd maybe try doctors again too as it sounds like they should be helping you but may not until after 1 year.
