Baby smells like vinegar

Is it their poo? If so it’s usually a sign that they aren’t very well. My baby’s poo smells very acidic when he’s got a snuffly nose

Most babies I've come across smell like that, I'd say it's normal.

Could be acid reflux if their mouth smells like vinegar as it means the stomach contents comes back up happened with my LO and she has silent reflux? Xx

It’s not his poo but his general neck area so I assume it’s either his saliva or sick but I do clean him quite frequently but it’s lingering ☹️

My little boys hands smelt like vinegar when he had mits on. Maybe it's just sweat?

usually caused by bacteria on the skin, used to notice it a lot on old people who couldnt wash themselves and needed help. next time you wash it dry it throughly & add some baby powder or equivelant type of thing to absorb any moisture and see if it goes :)

my LO wasn’t very bothered by it wasn’t crying or anything however still have been prescribed a formula thickener to see if it helps as sometimes she screws up her face when the stomach acid comes back up to her mouth xx could try gp or hv xx
