Milk Allergy
Hi! For those who have used lactose free formula, what was your experience like with it? My 10 week old has just been prescribed it and his poo has gone from green to yellow which is a good sign but he’s grazing and rarely finishing a full bottle. On cow’s milk I feel like he was feeding ‘too much’ but now he seems to be drinking say 60ml, leaving it for 45 minutes then crying for more. Is this normal when transitioning to lactose free? He’s only been on it for 2/3 days. His wind is just as bad too!

I don’t have any advice sorry, but just curious how you knew he was lactose intolerant, i’m querying this with my little girl x
aw don’t worry! It’s more because I ran out of possibilities of what it could be! 😂 He’s always struggled really bad with his wind and nothing worked (infacol, gripe water, lactalouse, anti-colic & anti-constipation formula) and his poo was also green. I always thought he’d be sick if it he was lactose intolerant but apparently that’s reflux and not a symptom of LI. When I googled the symptoms of LI I was like wow that’s him! So my GP prescribed the new milk to see if it helps xx
