The average gestational age for the placenta to start taking over is around 10 weeks.. so it could just be that. I've been feeling similar to you, and it's natural to worry. But I think we should try and embrace it!! X

My symptoms went/got better especially the nausea at week 10 and came back again at week 11 and now the nausea is as bad as it was at week 8 😭 supposed to be 12 weeks next week so hopefully the nausea will go because it’s awful. Hope your symptoms stay away for good!

I’m 10 weeks and I haven’t been sick yet, felt sick but never vomited. Just have sore breasts and tired.

10 + 4 here and my symptoms have reduced lots this week to the point of feeling like I’ve had none. I initially worried but also read that it’s common as your placenta takes over between 10-12 weeks which greatly reduces symptoms. I had a reassurance scan just before 9 weeks and they pointed out my placenta and umbilical cord coming in. Fingers crossed that’s what’s happening. I’ve been enjoying eating again and feeling I have a tad more energy. It definitely threw me off at first but lots of friends said by 2nd trimester they didn’t feel pregnant and felt fairly normal again.
