Hi , our paed recommended to put any topical steroid cream on my LO’s rash on his face. He did NOT diagnose it as eczema or contact dermatitis. Just said it might be baby acne or some kind of Rash.
I was asked to put the steroid cream & on top layer it with aquaphor moisturizer.
Anyone used any steroid cream and found good results ? If yes which ones and where should I get it from ?
Thank you in advance 😊

Was it hydrocortisone they suggested? If it's just baby acne I'd leave it. If it's irritating your baby then any over the counter ones are fine. They max out at 2.5% but you can get prescribed stronger ones. It helps calm the immune system's response so it gets less red and irritated. We use it for eczema flare ups.

Paed recommended topical over the counter steroid cream ( didn’t mention the name exactly)

I wouldn’t use a steriod cream on a baby. Deffo look at other options

We read that tubby Todd is a great cream especially for acne & stuff. It’s not a steroid, in fact it’s all natural!

Thank you all . I agree ☝🏻
I want to use of steroid as much as possible

I use hydrocortisone as my baby has eczema.
It depends how much it is bothering you as a mother.
1% is really mild and could help clear it in a day or so.
Or
you can just wait it out and it should heal in a week if it’s just acne.
