Did you have Iron anemia during pregnancy and howling did it take to get over it?

I've been anemic since 3 months pregnant, now I'm 8 months pregnant. Supplements didn't really work, waiting to see a hematologist... Wondering if this effects the baby in any way.

I've been anemic though my whole pregnancy. They've had to start giving me injections. Which have helped massively.

I was severely anemic during my first trimester, but palafer helped me tremendously, and my iron levels are normal now. The baby does need iron but likely ok since It's taking all of yours but of course ask your OB! I imagine long term it's probably not ideal. I also had to do additional bloodwork to test for other blood conditions which can take months to get the results. Iron transfusions are also a thing if the supplements didn't work

I've had low iron long before getting pregnant, but my vitamin b has been on the very end...so they don't say I'm anemic but just low iron. Either way, this brand spatone made a massive difference for me. It's just packets of water from a spring that's naturally high in iron. The MG dosage is way lower than the prescription they used to give me but honestly it works better and doesn't mess up my stomach. Vitamin c helps iron to absorb, so if you mix the water with orange juice it works wonders!

Iron infusions can help immensely. Talk to your doctor about a referral.

Confused Over Test Result

My heads pretty blagged about this atm. I’ve had spotting & some cramping but of the 2 tests I’d have expected the clear blue one to be most accurate. Any advice?

SPPH (secondary postpartum haemorrhage) due to retained placenta -D&C?

Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this? Currently trying to pass retained tissue ( 4 weeks pp) and finding every day so exhausting just constantly waiting and checking my bleeding. I stopped bleeding on week 2.5/3 then bleeding picked up last Saturday and I haemorrhaged on Thursday morning with a rush to hospital. Everyday since I’m waking up scared I’ll be bleeding out. Worried to go toilet to check, I’m not convinced I’ll be passing it naturally and I’m worried I’ll need a D&C… has anyone had this? My retained tissue is 2cm so they said it’s small but I have no signs of passing it or blood changing colour to show slowing down.

39 weeks pregnant FTM

39 weeks baby hasn’t come yet and I am just full of anxiety. I am trying to relax. I am trying to chill, but I can’t chill. I do not want to be induced. I would love to have her natural. Issue is I am tight down there and petite and baby is measuring big like the head especially. I know that measurements can be off. But I have photos! And she is a chunk. This is so unpredictable. How do I just put my faith forward and trust in God and how do I let go of this anxiety? I am doing fine and then boom it hits me and I want to ball my eyes out. I am trying to treat myself and do little things but driving or doing anything is so hard now and I’m so huge and uncomfortable …I’m at my breaking point 😭

Palpitations and out of breath

Anyone else dealing with heart palpitations and running out of breath super quickly?

I already spoke to my midwife, and they put me on magnesium and extra electrolytes and said if it doesn’t help, to tell them again. I have my next OB appointment on Tuesday and I plan on bringing it back up when I see her then, but I feel like my shortness of breath has just gotten increasingly worse and the dizziness is now off and on when I used to not get it before.

Anyone else has that experience?

I am 30 weeks on Wednesday (March 25) with a C-section scheduled for end of May.
