Unity NIPT testing

Has anyone used the Unity NIPT testing and had insurance not cover the cost? At a loss of what to do after seeing my explanation of benefits!!

I owed them about $700 and called and got them down to $550 ish by telling them I’m 35… since that’s a “high risk pregnancy” factor

did you call Unity or your insurance company?

I just got my bill & it’s so expensive!! Insurance apparently didn’t cover any of it & I was not expecting that at all! I’m going to call tomorrow & see if I can get it down. I’ll probably start with insurance & then call Unity depending on what they say
