Baby just randomly wome up screaming?

My little girl is 9months old and she sleeps through the night in our bedroom. Tonight just a fee min ago she woke up crying hysterically as if she was in pain. I picked her up and rubbed her back and she calmed down after a few minutes but it’s just not like her to wake up so terribly upset. At first i was worried she was choking on something because she was coughing while crying and once she started to get back to sleep there was a slight wheeze to her voice. Now that she is fully asleep her breathing is normal she everything is fine but i’m still worried. Have any of you experienced this?
