It's absolutely not okay for him to do that. Unless it's a joint activity (mutual masterbation), its a private activity. there's no consent given or able to be given.
@Charlie consent for masturbation? Lol wtf ?
I wouldn't take it personally, I'd ask him nicely. I've been satisfied by my partner and done this too, sometimes you're just still in the mood,
@Julie it's not okay to masturbate next to or in front of an unconsenting party. He doesn't need permission to masterbate, only her consent if it is next to or in front of her.
@Charlie definitely disagree, I feel like you're one of those people who's going to be rudely disappointed when you realize how life really works and how it's not all PC. If that's the case, should he not be able to change his clothes in the morning while getting ready for work if she's asleep? Would that be indecent exposure without her consent? Cmon
Maybe talk to him like hey you know when you pleasure yourself iam not asleep I know.... am I not doing enough for you? Could we do more what can we do to solve this type thing ???? Idk
Or wake up while he's doing it and take over lol ??
I honestly just think this is disrespectful. He could at least get up and go to the bathroom. I’d be asking lots of questions about my sex life if my partner did this… I feel like you should def ask him if it’s making you uncomfortable, and then you could at least know why and what could be causing him to do it.
You need to have this conversation with him.
My opinion is to join him, if it makes you feel a way, it’s not like he’s gonna turn you down.
Just let the man do his thing. I mean obviously if it bothers you that he’s doing it next to you maybe talk to him about going to a different room, but other than that who cares?
@Keiona Samuels best answer 👍🏾
@Julie I think the person who is going to be disappointed with life is you. Comparing changing clothes to masturbation? Are you 5? There is an issue with intimacy here. Sex is not only meant for pleasure. The fact that he has a need to masturbate after being intimate with her speaks volumes. Too difficult to understand?
@Keiona Samuels I agree

@Dorothy definitely not lol. You too are probably going to be blind to the actuality that a lot of men and some women have deeper sexual needs than whatever you think they need permission for
I sometimes after having sex do because I’m not fulfilled as a woman but doing it next to you while he thinks your sleep AFTER y’all had sex ? That’s odd in my opinion. You should have a conversation with him because it’s obviously something deeper. It’s not you, it’s him.
He may just have a higher sex drive than you do. It doesn't have to mean that you're doing anything wrong or bad. If it bothers you that he's masturbating while in bed with you, just let him know that you're not okay with it and he should do that in another room.
Im just wondering, throwing the idea there.. could he just be touching maybe in his sleep..lots of people do this as a comfort thing. I'd def talk to him about it
If I place myself and my partner in that same scenario…the reason my partner would be doing it after we had already had sex would be because he just kept thinking about it. He’s 31, still has a high drive most of the time. This would also be him “signaling” his interest in another round. Because he sucks at communicating. Instead of using words he hopes that that act will be obvious enough. Thats us personally though but just wanted to share another way of looking at it.
@Julie I get what you’re saying & agree bc I also masturbate after sex sometimes satisfied or not! But I have enough consideration for my partner to not do it next to him mostly to not make him feel away! Unless I know my partner truly doesn’t gaf! Just a respect thing and I would just tell my partner if it made me uncomfortable… like maybe step into another room!
First of all, can we discuss how dumb men can be thinking we are asleep… come on. I’ve had a man masturbate next to me before whilst he “thought” I was asleep and I called him out for it. Why can’t men just go to the toilet and be private with it..?
My partner did this when we 1st got together till I spoke to him at that time is he always had to do it since he has his op didn't think he was capable of Cumming while avn sex till I made him carry on while having sex so I could prove he could just cuz his ex convinced him he couldn't n couldn't have kids he now has 2 kids so clearly he cn hahaha his ex the problem not him
@Julie that's just stupid. There's nothing sexual about changing clothes. However, There is about masturbation. If you wannna be like that then I feel like you're one of those people who calls people snowflakes for fun. I try to remain as factual as possible. Go to a Facebook group called "that parent group" and they'll all tell you what I did. Masturbation in the presence of another person requires consent otherwise it is sexual harassment.
I would not mind it and suggest a round two 🤭
I dating someone who would masturbate in their sleep. It's more common than you think.
@Charlie maybe harassment if it's a friend , an acquaintance, a coworker, nor if it's not someone you sleep in a bed with
Girl ask if he just wants to have sex again 😂
@Julie that's not how it works. That's the attitude that made people not take marital rape seriously. It is sexual harassment. Ask for consent or find another room.

Because you don't like being told that something you do personally too, is wrong 😂
If somebody masturbate in there sleep, that is a demon. To be able to even think you can possibly do that while your literally sleeping obviously means they ARE NOT IN CONTROL OF THEIR BODY.. SCARY , not SEXY ! Just like if you have sex dreams and you can actually feel the orgasm .. it’s not normal and please don’t allow yourself to think so. Seek help or answers on why you do this. Woman or man.. speaking from experience! It’s bigger than you think. Men tends to be the ones who do it more because of trauma they have locked away.. 🤷♀️ scientifically proven if you do research. I went to therapy for mines. I haven’t experienced that anymore since I figure out what I do it..
Why not what*
@Charlie no because you're narrow-minded and the reason women who are truly assaulted won't be able to be heard or put away men in jail for genuine assault (including marital rape) Because women like you will literally find it to be assault while someone you just willingly had sex with hours before masturbates while you sleep, you genuinely repulse me. FYI this isn't considered a crime anywhere!
@Julie first and foremost, I am a survivor of SA myself. I am well versed in what is deemed assault and harassment. I OBVIOUSLY take this shit seriously. I did not say this was assault, I said it was harassment. It is an offence to masterbate in front of someone without their consent. Your relationship with that person is irrelevant. Look at Louis ck. Also you clearly don't seem to grasp that it requires consent. Not permission; he doesn't need permission to masturbate- he can do this in another room. He does, however, require consent to masturbate in her presence. It's that simple. And, if you Google "masturbating in front of someone without consent" it comes up with multiple sources that include the terms harassment. You're butthurt because you can't see that it's not acceptable nor respectful behaviour. Consent is necessary for any sexual act when another party is in the room or involved in the act itself.
@Constance sex dreams are absolutely normal and are not the devil or a demon. It's often hormonal.
Nope I disagree now that I educated myself on it but I get why you believe because I once did too ❤️
@Constance, dude, seriously. They're not demons 😂 it's literally science.
Exactly science and spiritual.. look into it. Not a big deal if you don’t agree tho 😭 we don’t need to debate
@Constance well tbf it sort of is a big deal. People who don't know better will read that and think "something is wrong with me because I have sex dreams". Which isn't the case at all!
Could mean he wasn’t satisfied or he wanted more from you maybe he wanted more rounds
