Try roasting a chicken/bone in ham
This is a cooking tip! If you roast some meat with bones in you can use the meat for whatever meals obviously 🙄 but you can save the drippings and once the fat cools you can scrape it off and use that for a really flavorful cooking oil and then the juices can go into a soup or stew as a rich broth. And then save the bones and you can boil them for bone broth OR regular broth. Maybe people already knew this? Idk but I saw an Instagram video of someone doing it and was like oh my gosh, this can stretch so far in the kitchen! Maybe I’m easily amazed 😂😂😂
Yep it’s one of my favorite hacks. I also always get the bone in, skin on chicken thighs instead of breasts. The skins I remove and bake to make similar to chicharones and save the oil as a good cooking fat. The bones I save and eventually make bone broth with and then use my pressure cooker followed by food processor to turn into bone meal to add to my dogs food.
