How do I make porridge for my 6mo using formula milk? Do I make formula as normal using the kettle, leave to cool for 30 mins then put in the pan with the oats? Or just heat it from cool in the pan then add the power to the oats and water? Confused

Your second option. Heat it from cool in the pan and then add your oats. You can buy the boxed ones specifically for babies or if you’re on a budget, you can buy regular oats and blend them up and use that. That’s what I did because baby cereal is way too expensive for the amount that you get

Or use Weetabix, stick some made up formula in that and mix. It has a porridge like texture, gets baby used to the taste and then you can gradually change it to use cows milk.
