Night feeds (formula)

I'm having an elective c section in 5 weeks and I've decided to formula feed. What are people using at night? I've read about prep machines, flasks, rapid cool and bottle warmers. But I can't decide on what's going to be easier and not break the bank. Any advice on what you guys are using/planning would be appreciated

We’ve been lucky enough to be gifted a prep machine and a rapid cool and I’m thinking of using the rapid cool for the early days in the night as the prep machine only starts from 4oz. Plus the rapid cool means I don’t have to move on a night 😂 I’ll just do the hot shot method and fill a flask of hot water before going to bed

I’m going to be using the rapid cool after speaking to friends with new babies. Not even bothering to buy a prep machine seems like a waste of money

How much does the rapid cool hold? Like would it hold enough for the whole night?

With my first I just used to put so many oz of cool water in the bottle then top it up with hot from a flask and add formula :) midwife suggested to do it this way x

Also does the rapid cool keep it the same temp all night?

I will be using ready made formula as I will be combi feeding so it much easier for night feeds xx

If you make your night feed bottles before you go to bed (the normal way) you can let these cool down then put them in the fridge, you can lift out when needed and use a bottle warmer? This is what I’m thinking of doing. I have also chosen elective and it’s in 6 weeks

I’ve always used the rapid cook for my daughter and if I don’t BF this time round I’ll continue to use the rapid cool and boiling water in a flask for nights. Then 1oz hot shot remaining oz of boiling hot in the rapid cool
