Hi all! I’m curious if anyone knows anything about employees rights after maternity leave. I understand we are entitled to our old job returning from maternity leave but I have noticed my company has been having restructuring and a lot of my coworkers let go in the last year. I am nervous about my own role returning, does anyone have any details or information to navigate a similar situation?
I have a call with my boss today and I just want to know what I am entitled to if their circumstances have changed.

They made me sign something saying they have to offer me my old job if its there - if its not there - something similar - otherwise 90 days paid to find something - then its a package / severance. Read what u sign. Talk to a lawyer if necessary. Most employers dont want the hassle of not saving you a spot, but it happens ---
