Lactose Free milk

Have the doctor not prescribed you it? I thought that’s what they usually do? Also following for symptoms

My LO was having stomach cramps, screaming in pain, upset tummy, noises from tummy everytime she had lactose. My husband and I are both lactose intolerant so we figured she would be too. We started her on Aptamil lactose free milk and gradually weaned that off to switch her over to Aptamil comfort. We used lactase drops as well to ease the transition

no they just said to find one so i found sma do it and aptamil but sma was cheaper so i thought ill try that first

thats interesting, i dont think my boys in pain as such but as soon as the doc started touching his belly he started reacting 🤔 noises from belly do u mean like farting?

I know its normal to of course pass wind but my boys is like i dont know how his little body creates such noise and thumble 🤣 and my boys toilets have never been too good either dark green and really smelly… did u have any similar?

My baby developed temporary lactose intolerance after a viral gastroenteritis so he’s on aptamil lactose free formula for 8 weeks!

My baby has been on nutramigen then neocate from early on, she had bloating, runny poo, rash, mucus in poo. You should get it on prescription from ur GP! X

My baby had reflux and was going red from straining and grunting so much. Since we switched to LF SMA powder (previously on Apatamil). His reflux had stopped but he is now pooing after every feed. Not sure if this is diahorrea now. He seems happy within himself and there is hardly any spit up.

How has your boy gotten on with it?

well previously on c&g being sick often and his poo being runny dark green stinking and itll be every 2/3 days he will poo… ive been on sma LF only started it friday so yet to give him a little more time but he still be sick which i know can be normal of not burped etc his poo is the same but hes actually gone 2x a day since being on this across the weekend… my boys started grunting recently🤔 i thought hes just grunting but maybe hes trying to tell me something🤔 but my boys always a happy boy he used to go quite red when pooing and sometimes there would be just a little dot in the nappy and then he would fully go later on so i dont really know whats what at the moment i just know the colour the smell and how it looks just cant be right
