Does teething cause a runny/snotty nose?

I can’t find a definitive answer for this.. my kiddo seems to be cutting a tooth but is also very snotty. Are these related?

It can since teeth and sinuses are connected

Yes. As well as diarrhea

My girl already has two bottom teeth and now 4 top teeth coming in at once 😅

that’s so crazy I was just looking at my son’s mouth and it almost looks like the top middle and top right is coming in at the same time! Maybe that’s why he’s a fussy little ball of snot lol. Four is rough though.. hope you guys are surviving!

She’s been doing amazing! Not too fussy, at night she’s a little clingy but that’s okay. I wouldn’t have known we had another two coming in until she smiled at me a few days and I saw the four! 😆

my oldest had 8 teeth by the time she was 8 months and you never would have known she was teething.. they just showed up no issues. My 8 month old only has her bottom two and pretty sure her coinciding ear infection was related to them coming in. She’s drooly as all hell right now, I assume cutting her top two. And she’s been pulling at her ear again, but no fever and no fussiness.. so I’m hoping we don’t end up with another ear infection.

Defiantly running nose, diarrhea, drooling, coughing, and choking on his salvia. Looks like 6 are pushing through for us right now. I can see the white parts poking through already.
