I'm not sure where you are based but I'm pretty sure in the uk they won't do them until 39 weeks

If your in the UK you can request them in the before your due date as long as your past 37 weeks and have a valid reason. I know this as I asked midwife when pregnant as I was super scared to go past my due date as pregnancy was IVF. They booked in a sweep a few days after 37 weeks and also got me an appointment with a consultant to request an induction which they agreed to and booked for the day before my due date. I didn't actually get a sweep though as every time I went I wasn't dilated at all you need to be at least 2cm and the day of my 3rd attempt of a sweep I actually went into labour naturally and had baby same day. If you feel you need a sweep or are worried at all about going to due date just voice your concerns and ask for what you feel you need. They will take you seriously it's your body your choice regardless of where you are.
