Here is my Shirley temple. I have straight hair, so I am pretty lost on what to use for her curly hair. It’s not thick curls. Im Not even sure what Type of hair she has? I just know it’s curly and wild and gets tangled constantly.
Does anyone with curly hair have recommendations?
-For shampoo and conditioner
- or leave in conditioner (her hair is so tangled after a bath ) 🛁
- and a good brush for curly hair
Thank you ❤️

I’m thinking we may need some better conditioning products

We like the pink bottle Johnson and Johnson for curly hair and like the leave in too [both pink bottle]
And we like hair brushes with soft hair on them like conair brand. Just make sure it's soft and a little firm

There’s the famous uncurly brush that is running around and I probably have the bootleg version from Amazon 🙄, but I do find that it detangles easier than other brushes. My sons hair is MUCH thicker so I won’t recommend products but if it’s tangled, detangle it in small sections, start at the ends and go up, lots of water and lots of conditioner or product when detangling and styling.

Sounds like a lot of work, but you can use one brush to detangle and another to style once it’s already detangled

don't brush her curls dry. Make sure they are damp.

Thank you ☺️

My daughter has very curly hair, I have a spray bottle with a squirt of her conditioner and filled with filtered water. I spray down her hair before brushing it with a boar bristle brush.
