I have a full time permanent job but due to personal reason that I wish to not share with my employer, I need to quit without any notice.
I never received a copy of my contract. But, what I need to know is, that there nothing they can do against me if I just tell them I’m not coming back due to personal reasons.

When you say contract is it because they paid you up front or something? If you’re in the US and it’s just a regular paycheck job you can just quit without notice. Giving 2 weeks notice is not required.
no just a contract with all the policy and procedures plus your salary

If your in UK then you only have to actually give one weeks notice unless clearly stated in your contract that you have to give x amount of time notice to quit. They legally have to give you any owed pay and pay you any unused annual leave. However if you give less than a weeks notice or less that what is stated in your contract then they don't have to pay you anything they owe you.

Idk how it works but my partner has never had to work a notice. He’s always just handed his notice with immediate affect.

My grandmother worked under contract for 30 + years, I asked her, and she said the money will stop, of course(your salary no matter how it comes). But she quit after signing a contract due to personal reasons, she was threatened but nothing ever happened. You are still a free person.
