16 week jabs - inconsolable

My little boy had his 16 week jabs yesterday afternoon, he was fine last night and has been most of the day. However, since about 6pm we’ve had inconsolable periods of crying and he’s now woke up twice, fed and then been crying/screaming like he’s in pain and can’t get comfortable. I’ve given him a bit of Calpol an hour or so ago but it’s just happened again. Takes so long to calm him down and he’s usually so content so it’s so hard to see him like this.

Keep giving calpol 4-6 hours with no more than 4 doses in 24 hours. The pain from the injection could be hurting him plus the 16 week jabs contains men B which is known to cause baby to feel miserable and extra fussy. Their immune system is working extra hard but it will resolve after 2 days! Feed on demand to get those fluids in too and extra cuddles and comfort to help him sleep.

It did - however he’s been a bit unwell and I think his teeth are bothering him so it could have been any of those things too. One of his legs did swell a bit which may have been a bit painful for him too x
