Shall i give him Calpol before?
How was your little one after?

Good luck. Mine had his about a month ago now. I didn’t give him calpol before but I did give it to him straight after.
My little one was grotty after but we had no fever or anything. He did however have an extremely swollen bruised leg, which is STILL swollen and bruised. The gp informed me this is normal.
If your routine works for you I’d recommend sticking to it but you know your child and if he needs give it to him. X

I gave calpol after, we opted for two in each leg instead of one in all 4 limbs so they won’t all be sore as advised, my little one has a lump which was quite sore at first and for a few weeks after at one of the sites but the others have been absolutely fine, I’d say just follow baby’s lead, if they appear sleepy maybe let them sleep a bit longer but if they’re ok in themselves stick to your routine, good luck x

No calpol after x

I would give calpol an hour before and keep going through the day. Also let him sleep however he wants. My lo was fine on the day of but was very poorly from it for two weeks after. Just use your mummy intuition, lots of water and calpol and ibuprofen if needed. Xx

Thank you all for responding. He had his vaccine this morning. So far no fever 🤞

Hey Chandani, how did it go? My little boy had his on Friday. Not really a crazy fever; but he’s been clingy but yesterday night he went nuts! Didn’t know what he wanted, eventually did fall asleep but he seemed like he was so gassy and uncomfortable and in pain. Today he’s woken up OK - with a slight temp of 37.9. Still a little clingy but he’s a clingy baby so not sure if it’s his normal self or not lol

aww i hope your LO gets well soon. I hate seeing them like this 😭
My LO is doing okay. Little bit clingy, cries randomly. No fever but body was bit warm last night. Giving him Calpol every 4 hours 🤞
