Cmpa vitamins?

My little girl has suspected cmpa, so I am starting a dairy free diet this week. I know I need to take calcium and vitamin d, but are there any brands to avoid? I don't want to accidentally include dairy in the supplement I'm taking to cut it out!

Also did people carry on with taking postnatal vitamins? I currently take pregnacare breastfeeding ones.

Thank you for any help - we haven't really had any advice from the doctors and I was a bit shell shocked to ask detailed questions as we have been turned away for weeks being told it's 'just colic'

I was taking pregnacare breastfeeding tablets but the ingredients say they contain soya so I have stopped and am now taking a calcium and vitamin D tablet. It’s recommended to take a calcium supplement if you’re excluding dairy from your diet.

Thanks Lorisa - were you advised to exclude both or did you start with dairy then exclude soya after seeing no improvement?

I saw a lactation consultant who advised me to cut out both, which has been hard being vegetarian! I have occasionally accidentally had soya (it’s an ingredient in so many products that you wouldn’t expect) and she’s had reactions so worth excluding x
