I’m 5”2 when I wasn’t pregnant I was very small in weight around 51/2kg I’m now 23 weeks pregnant and there’s a huge difference in how I look, I’m worried this is due to over eating and not just healthy weight gain for baby, did anyone else experience a huge weight gain, did you find it difficult to lose it afterwards?

I'm 5ft9in I weighed 59kg pre pregnancy and during pregnancy I put on 25kg, I did look like I put on weight but 4.5 months later I'm back to my pre pregnancy weight and wearing all my pre pregnancy clothes 😅 you may just be the same!

pregnancy with my first I barely put on any weight, this time with my second I can tell I’ve put on a fair bit but not been over eating. Just carry on eating a balanced diet, and eat healthily post baby being born and you’ll be fine x

i’m 5ft 4, 7 weeks pregnant and have gone from 54kg to 61kg already.
i generally go up to 86kg & will drop down to around 63kg within a week or so after birth.
I wouldn’t stress over it too much, your body is going to change but it’s growing a little bubba & it’ll be different after you’ve given birth.
x

It could be what you are eating are you eating balanced meals

My OB said theres no real reason for them to say an exact weight gain that’s healthy since they can watch your labs through urine tests. I’m 5’8” and was 86kg when I got pregnant. With my first from 24 weeks on I gained around 36kg and they never mentioned my weight since my labs were always pretty normal and I didn’t have or develop GD. I lost around 32kg of that PP in 10 months (then got pregnant again at 9 months PP)
This time around I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant and have gained almost 6kg pounds. As long as you’re eating healthy and balanced meals, I wouldn’t stress much about what the scale says.

I'm 5"1 & gained 35, 40, & 30 with my 3 pregnancies.
One of my closest friends is 5"2 and gained 70 with her first & 25 with her second.
Both of us are health conscious & eat 80/20, walk/hike a lot, & were giving clear bills of health throughout our pregnancies.

I'm 5'7 and I've been struggling with weight gain due to being anaemic. At 12 weeks I was 71kg..I'm 21+5 and now I'm 75kg. I'm loving the weight gain.

I'm 4 feet 7 inches. I gained 25 with my first. But he was my premature baby. My second I gained 30 pounds. She was my full term. My last one was also premature and I only gained 20 with him. Losing the weight was not so hard. I just changed my eating habits and walked a lot.
