Potty training vs defiance

Ok so my baby girl is potty training she does really well first thing in the morning and at school but at home during the day she acts like she has no clue what a potty is… just a few minutes ago while changing her pull up she runs from me hides under the bed of course I’m calling her getting down to see if I can grab her then I hear her “liquid gold” hitting the carpet…. Now I’m upset because she could have gone potty or let me pull the fresh pull up on her…. What are you all doing for training at home and how do I get her pee out of my carpet 😡😡😳😳🙄🙄🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

Underwear + jeans was the best combo bc it’s the worst feeling to get wet 😅 My son was also stubborn, so I did that and he peed one time and realized he hated the feeling, and it really got him going well

We are being very relaxed about it currently. Announcing when we go and asking him but not forcing him to go. He gets a chocolate when he does go on the potty and he thinks thats the best. We are waiting until this summer to officially go all out that way he can run in the yard all day and I'm not cleaning my floors, just clothes. They aren't even 2.5 so they are still pretty young to be fully potty trained, just gotta keep encouraging it

We’re being relaxed about it too. My daughter will ask to go on the potty, usually after I’ve gone. I always put her on. She’s peed on it 3 times but hasn’t done a poop yet. Most of the time she just sits there and then unravels 10 miles of toilet paper 😂 like @Liv said, this summer when she can be outside most of the time we’ll start a more “intense” potty training routine
