Anyone just not hear back following glucose test?

I had my glucose (gestational diabetes test) at Birmingham women’s 2 weeks ago and I just haven’t heard anything back, no call, badger hasn’t been updated, I called the hospital and they said that no news normally means it’s negative but I feel like I want to see that. The NHS are known for losing results. They said to ask my midwife but my midwife never responds to me and my next appointment isn’t for ages!

I’m with Birmingham women’s and they told me if I don’t hear anything then that means good news. badger notes is useless and still not been updated with results back from 25 weeks and I’m now nearly 37 weeks

I was told the same, but they’ve forgot to book me in for appointments twice so I’m scared they either forgot to call or lost my results! I think you should hear back regardless! Definitely agree with the badger being useless though

I have mine on the 13th of may did you have to drink anything I’m nervous incase I throw up x

oh yeah they’ve forgot to book me 2 appointments aswell, I spent 1 hr 10 on the phone trying to get through to make sure they did book me in. Need a better System it’s ridiculous!x

it hasn’t been updated on the test results tab at all? my badger notes haven’t been updated but my patient access shows everything. Birmingham in general seems useless for pregnancy.. my dr claimed the midwife should have contacted me about my results by now and heard nothing so I always just check everything myself x

nope nowhere to be seen sadly it’s just making me worry

ring them when they are open and if they still say nothing received tell them you want to be referred for another set of test & you will issue a formal complaint if not sorted x

I’ve rang them and all they’ve said is ‘wait to speak to your midwife’ x

Same with me.. not heard back and had my GTT a week ago.. nothing on the badger app either and no response from midwife 🤷🏻‍♀️ feel like I need to follow up now even though I was told the same - no news is good news, however badger app should have been updated at least if it was negative. Nothing added from my midwife appointments since my booking at 12 weeks - useless!

Totally agree!!! I’ve gone about my week thinking it’s ok but now I’m annoyed! Has your midwife been the same? No update or response?

my midwife has literally never responded to me really! I text her and she hasn’t got back to me about any updates

same with mine!! I might just ring the surgery on Tuesday and ask them for it.. no other choice - how many weeks are you?

Same - entering third trimester next week 🤞 yes sorry my GP surgery but even getting hold of them is a chore 😝

Anxiety with the bump.

I’m 36 weeks pregnant and I’ve suddenly developed a massive anxiety around anyone standing behind me. My husband is annoying me so much because even though I’ve told him how it makes me feel, he’s continued doing stuff in our kitchen (that is tiny anyway) and sliding past me to grab things. I know the baby is safe even if I were to bump the bump a little but even the thought of it is still making extremely anxious. How do I cope with this feeling and is anyone else going through the same sort of thing?

Has anyone else been feeling this way as they're getting closer to their due date?

I attempted to change our bedding this evening and had to call my husband for back up as I literally felt like my lungs were going to explode just trying to reach over to put the sheet on.

I'm huffing and puffing just getting my toddler into his pjs, and I was sat down! Like what is going on 😮‍💨🥲

Everything has been check ie bloods etc so I think it's just general pregnancy as I'm now 38 weeks. My bump feels like it weighs about 100lbs 😭

So I’m 20 weeks pregnant and I went to the hospital for light bleeding when I wipe ( not ever time though).. the doctor told me it was due to sex and that my cervix was irritated has anyone else experienced this? And or know way to just calm my anxiety from it

Friends wedding abroad

Hi all. I know this is FTM... But really need advice. I am currently pregnant with baby #2. Only 8 weeks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet, my partner and boss knows (needed for risk assessment reasons annoyingly). My friend is getting married in a remote part of Spain in ~3 months. I've already had a few minor complications, pain, bleeding, vanishing twin... I got preeclampsia last pregnancy and a terrible birth.
I am pretty sure I don't feel comfortable flying and then travelling out to a remote part of Spain during pregnancy. It will just be me and my toddler. I know it's overcautious but I just don't feel comfortable. I'm not even sure if I am going to be classified as high risk pregnancy or not.
How do I handle this? I need to tell her ASAP, but I didn't really want to tell anyone yet as doc told me miscarriage risk is a bit increased with vanishing twin. Any ideas?

When to prepare?

I’m 34w1d with my second baby. Today at my midwife appointment she said baby is 2/5 engaged, I’ve packed my hospital bags but unsure when to start building baby’s crib. Installing car seat ect. When is everyone else doing these things?
