Progesterone coming out
I am inserting my pessary rectally and I am getting issued doing it the other way, but when I just went to the loo I noticed quite alot had come out and it had been hours since I inserted it. I'm scared that doing it rectally it's not working

They say to not have any bowel movements for an hour after inserting rectally. There is no difference in absorption rectally versus vaginally. Most of the residue that comes out is vegetable fat. Don't worry too much about it.
The waxy substance that is left behind is just the carrier method for the medication, it would come out in your pants when using it vaginally. Just wait an hour after inserting before opening your bowels
