Whooping cough 35 weeks
Anyone get the whooping cough vaccine late in pregnancy - 35 weeks now. Feels so close that I’m scared to throw anything off (ie have a bad reaction and fever, do anything that could harm the fetus etc).

The vaccine shouldn't hurt the baby - the vaccine has been used in pregnancy for over 10 years and has actually been in use since the 50s. So it's very safe.
Although later in pregnancy, it's certainly recommended to get the vaccine before baby is born as it's better than the potential outcomes for a newborn if they were to catch it - which can be devastating.
In terms of side effects, I got covid and flu jabs the same day, and all I felt was like I'd been lifting weights the next day (had it at 20 weeks) x
Would talk to your Midwife or GP if you've got concerns, they know all the facts inside out and can alleviate any concerns x
I had the jab at 17W... no flu, no side effects whatsoever. Just had to nurse a sore arm for a few days.
Same as above hun, i had a sore arm and no other symptoms
FYI - Pregnant women can help protect their babies by getting vaccinated – ideally, from 16 weeks up to 32 weeks pregnant. If for any reason you miss having the vaccine, you can still have it up until you go into labour.
