Has anyone moved out here with just their family (husband, kids etc) no other family, or support. How did you adjust? We’re going on 2.5 years here in Cypress and it gets so lonely I’m ready to move back to Dallas and I hate Dallas lol. I thought we would’ve had like family friends by now.

Yes! My husband and I moved here about 3 years ago from the west coast when it was just the two of us. Loved it everything was great. BUT after having our daughter and another baby on the way my feelings have changed. Family and support is everything and not having that is very hard. We’ve made friends and acquaintances but it’s just not the same. It’s really up to you guys on what you want to do and luckily Dallas isn’t too far but if you want to move back you have to do what’s best for your family.

I moved from Michigan to Houston 4 years ago, all my family is still in Michigan. It’s lonely. Especially now after having a child. Honestly it’s hard unless you build your own support system.

This is great advice. I guess I’m just feeling a little discouraged. Our oldest both played soccer and now the oldest is moving on to volleyball and I’m just worried about out of state games for both being at the same time lol. We’ll have to figure it out!

They’re 8 and 12 on travel teams outside of school. I wish they offered soccer in school at a early age life would be easier lol

We too moved to Houston without family/friends. It's makes your family foundation stronger in ways. It does get overwhelming with not having no help. We been making it work lol
