When you guys were packing hospital bags for labor/delivery, did you put your baby’s stuff in your hospital bag or did you put baby’s stuff in a diaper bag?

Diaper bag

thank you! At how many weeks did you start packing the diaper bag up?

I’m 37 weeks tomorrow and finally got my husband to pack his stuff lol I’ve had baby’s bag done at 20 weeks and my stuff done around the same time

We put her stuff in a diaper bag! Just made it easier for everyone’s stuff to be separate in their own bag

i had a small suitcase for myself and a large duffle bag for baby

I had a bag for me and a bag for her, I had it packed at around 35/36 weeks

I used packing cubes in my duffle bag. I didn’t want to have a lot of bags to carry around.

I have a travel small suitcase for all of baby's stuff and then a random bag from Primark for my stuff to keep it separate :) I've been slowly packing and have most of it done now at 32 weeks, it's just the stuff like charger, toiletries and snacks left to pack wr the end 😊

sadly ever single hospitals is different as my friend just gave birth in MK (UK) and they literally only gave her 3 mesh underwear and that's literally it :)

I’m 37 weeks and just started slowly adding stuff last week. I did put baby’s things in the suitcase, but will probably bring the diaper bag instead. I know my hospital supplies a lot of the necessities (diapers, wipes, creams, clothing-I will pack an outfit for going home, etc.) so I won’t be packing those and will put the leftovers from the hospital in the bag since I’m paying for it 🤪 definitely check with your hospital on what they do provide!
For my husband and I, we packed a set of pajamas (I packed two since idk if I’ll be warm or cold), a robe, delivery gown (pj dress with buttons..), towel, toiletries, a pair of cheap flip flops I already had for the shower, pump/pump accessories, a few snacks (even though my hospital will provide some… my husband and I can be picky at times 😅), pillow, blanket, and a going home outfit. Most of my tops have buttons so that I can easily breastfeed (hopefully 🤞🏻)

Baby # 1, I packed the bag at 32 weeks (after an early labor scare). I had a bag for me, a bag for baby, and a bag for my husband. I’d say 95% of that stuff went unused.
Baby # 2, I packed the bag at 38 weeks. I packed one bag for everyone with 2 comfy outfits for me (sweats and t shirts), one outfit for baby (they wear what the hospital gives them until it’s time to go home..), bathroom essentials, chargers, snacks, a pillow, and a few other things. I didn’t bring any diapers, wipes, etc. as they give you tons of that stuff. My husband didn’t pack clothes because he went home to check our toddler and change.

Diaper bag

I have 3 and always done they own because you have so much and they give you so much for after care so everyone stuff won’t be bunched up in 1

I might’ve done it around 36 weeks. I didn’t really use anything though except an outfit for her to wear to bring her home. Hospital gave me everything else. I didn’t even open mine or her bag. The next time I give birth I’m not bringing anything except a small toiletry bag tbh!
But if you were wondering, now I put 6 diapers, small pack of wipes, 2-3 outfits, diaper cream, extra socks, burp clothes, 2 blankets and the best thing I use is a small roll of trash bags (kinda like used for dog poop). I also put puppy pads that I use on changing tables instead of a blanket and I just throw it away since idk how clean those changing tables are!
