Does anybody else’s baby/toddler just not stay still or sit still for any longer than 30 seconds?
LG has never sat in her highchair for longer than 30 seconds before wanting to get out.
Won’t stand still, has to jiggle around or walk.
She’s a complete fidget and we find ways of making life work. But it’s really hard.

Same here. Unless he's super tired then the only time he will actually happily sit still is in his pushchair when out for a walk. He will go in his high chair but is constantly fidgeting and trying to climb out but if I take food off his tray then he will stop and eat and look at me like how dare I assume he's finished. I try to keep him as mentally stimulated as I can to help but it's so hard to do when he won't stay still. He sometimes brings me books I think he wants to read but within 30 seconds he's run off for something else

exactly the same as my little girl! Getting her to sit in a pushchair has always been a nightmare. She’s always wanted to be held instead.

definitely a challenge. I've always struggled with bedtime. Can't bath him as part of routine because that's a whole ordeal of its own and quiet time to relax is impossible. Everyone says do a bedtime story but yeah nothing really works

My LB is on the go constantly. Popped out for dinner and wow that’s a challenge now with him not wanting to sit. Dread bath times as he slips and slides everywhere. Will not sit in a seat. He only had half hour sleep today I’m tired!! lol!

It’s normal, baby this age is about exploring, especially if he’s in a new space that he’s never been to before. It’s good for their development. I’d say let them do what they want but watch that they don’t disturb other people and try to teach him boundaries and make him understand that this is a public space and not a private space where he’ll need to be mindful of other people and everything else around. It’s a learning process but he’ll eventually get there. I find it tougher to handle when I’m out with my partner and anyone else 😂 it’s easier for me to manage my son when it’s just the three of us, my daughter, my son and myself. My son doesn’t stay in night chair once he’s full, so I’d let him down and walk around but always keeping an eye on him and make sure he doesn’t get into any troubles or causing others troubles. If he’s too much, I’d just end up putting him on my lap while I quickly finish off my food and make sure my daughter is satisfied as well, then away we go

Honestly for me at least it's not just his age and its not about environment it's something that's always been this way since he started managing to move around himself at like 7 months and it's anywhere and everywhere from home to familiar outside spaces and unfamiliar new places

this is the same for us. Though tbh she’s never liked the pram from day dot and would scream 🙈

It's only recent mine has started being ok in the pushchair but have to keep moving lol he usually gets a little toy from the charity shop before we head home so I may have bribed him in to that with out thinking lol

I've started going to the park daily, just for a run around for 30 minutes and get my LO maybe a bit more tired. It's a tough bit of life but I'm pretty sure it's normal
