I’m 35 weeks pregnant, I can’t stop going for a wee but it’s as soon as I go and then stand up I need another one. I understand the baby is getting ready for labour and is on my bladder but is it the signs of labour soon or in a couple of weeks? It’s my first baby so I’m not sure and thought I’d get some advice because it’s currently 5am and I can’t sleep whatsoever, I can’t get comfy. Baby won’t stop moving either so that doesn’t help. I had my last scan when I was 34 weeks because of growth scans and he’s 6.3lb nearly a month ago. Will I get induced early? I’ve got so many questions🤦🏼♀️I do apologise

I get this so often, try lifting your belly up a little bit when you wee (sometimes helps empty your bladder properly), my scan was at 34 weeks and baby weighed 6lb, no talk about being induced, just booked another scan and said may be a bigger baby, hope this helps 🤍

When I was pregnant I had this issue and asked my midwife about why I always need to pee even when I've just gone. This is roughly what I was told. At this stage in pregnancy the baby is pushing on your bladder more, he/she is getting ready to engage or could be already (also doesn't mean labour is going to be sooner/later), so your bladder doesn't empty properly. She recommended moving around when I thought I was done peeing (bend forward to rest over your knees if that makes sense), leaning side to side. I used to find more would come out! Although at this point you'll probably feel like you're always in the toilet regardless 🤣
