Did you use transition nipples on the baby bottles? We didn't and ended up having that problem too. It seemed like the problem was it was too much water/milk at one time and she struggled with that. We got a couple transition nipples for her baby bottles and then kept trying with the straw until she got used to it. Now she'll drink out of anything, and we are working on open faced cups.

Get that bear straw cup off of Amazon. You can squeeze it to help them not get discouraged. Also buy some straws for yourself to put in your drinks so she can see you do it as well

I use munchkin click lock sippy. I taught him to tilt his head back while I squeezed it to show him it had water in it and he transitioned to biting it to get water out and then figured it out.

Has she ever had one of those fruit pouches? Can she suck it straight from the pouch? If so, get a silicone straw cup, fill it and squeeze some of the pouch on the top of the straw and she should suck from the straw. I did this a few times to introduce the straw to my daughter, when she realised if she kept sucking she’ll get water, it was a game changer lol!

She’s been drinking from a straw cup since about 8 months now.

Side note: my daughter hates sippy cups and I believe it’s because she can’t control how much water comes out.
Good luck x
