Help so confused on maternity leave dates
Help, I started mat leave on the 23rd aug 23 and I get 2 full days leave then smp. I worked out my return work at 39 weeks later than my HR team. Does anyone know if SMP finishes at the end of the 39th week?

Your ‘ordinary materntiy leave’ is 39 weeks and this is where the payments stop, your remaining 13 weeks of ‘additional maternity leave’ is unpaid unless your company enhance maternity pay xx
If your first day of mat leave was the 23rd Aug 23, your first day of unpaid mat leave will be 22nd May 24 (if I've counted correctly). Does that help?
yes it does I didn't know if my paid leave would end the 22nd or the following Wednesday. Thank you
