Periods
Just looking for some advice if anyone is a similar position please. I stopped taking the contraceptive pill 10 months ago now. For the first 6 months I had no periods at all. Since then I’ve only had two periods. 52 days cycle between my first and second period now I’m on cycle day 41 waiting for period number 3. I’ve had a scan and been told they couldn’t see either of my ovaries but it was not a concern?!. I have just started yesterday to track my LH levels on the pre mom app. Is there anything else I could be doing or asking doctors for? I know it’s probably a case of being patient whilst my periods return to a more regular cycle but any advice would be appreciated please

Id ask for another scan to find your ovaries. Do you have any symptoms of PCOS?
Thank you! I think I will ask for another scan, I don’t think I do have any other symptoms but not really sure!
Did they do an internal scan? That’s the best way to see the ovaries x
Yeah they did as they tried to an ultrasound but saw nothing so then did an internal scan but still nothing?! They did say they can hide behind the bowel or something and said if there was something to see they would be visible but not much reassurance that they couldn’t see either of them! X
Hmm strange yeh maybe go back. When I came off the pill my periods went back to normal immediately. But then again everyone is different !
