Baby hiccups

Hey everyone! I’ll be 36 weeks this Thursday and the last couple of weeks baby has had hiccups every single day for around 20 minutes. Is anyone else experiencing this? I don’t know if it’s normal or not! When googling (probs the worst thing to do) I’ve read that it’s less common to experience hiccups after 32 weeks and it could be a sign that something is wrong? But then I’m not sure if I’m over thinking and it’s even something to call triage about..

Mine is a hiccup maniac! Especially at night, it does also let me know where their head is. Totally normal (Im 35+3) and midwife has also said its normal

34 weeks and she hiccups at least 5 times a day! Sometime for 20 minutes a time. Hospital keep telling me to stop worrying and said it’s a really good thing. Shows that her lungs are working as they should be x

I'm just over 33 and my baby is the exact same! Had me worried sick the past few days. I'm going to mention it again at my midwife app on Thursday but I keep
getting told it is a good sign xx

I’m 35weeks my baby started having hiccups just after 30weeks she might had it before but I didn’t noticed but now I can clearly tell she is hiccuping it’s cute tho but it’s bit funny as she is head down and I can feel almost in my v….. that she is hiccuping there 🤣sometimes her whole body shakes from hiccup than I try to rub her “bum or back” to help her although I’m not entirely sure what I’m rubbing but whatever she sticks out 😅

Hiccups means your baby is hydrated from drinking the amniotic fluid. It makes them healthy and allows them to practise drinking (and weeing)! You want hiccups. Otherwise they are dehydrated…
