Day out ideas

Myself and my partner have one free day out with our daughter (2.5yo) and it's tomorrow! We've been wracking our brains on what we van do and where we could take her but all of the big day out options would either mean we were away too long for the dog or it'd mean being out in the rain for hours or would cost an arm and a leg. Has anyone got any fun day out suggestions for a toddler than won't cost a fortune or involve an hour+ drive?
