Does anyone who works for the NHS know about the return to work policy after having a year off? Do you have to go back for a certain amount of time and do you have to do keeping in touch days or are they optional?

Keeping in touch days are optional I won't be doing any. I'm only taking the 9 months off but I'm certain that if you had occupational maternity pay you have to go back for a certain length of time I think 3 months but I may be wrong on that part

If you need to know anything else you can drop me a message. I manage people in the NHS so know the policy fairly well x

You need to go back to the NHS for 3 months but it does not need to be the same NHS trust. Otherwise you will need to pay back some of your mat leave.
