First flight with 6mo

I'm traveling too with 6month, would be good to get som3 times

I have never flown with a baby but my mother in law told me a bit of advice she was given once. She said the stewardess told her to save the bottle for takeoff. If they are eating while their ears are popping, it's easier on them. Like how adults will chew gum.

Are you able to bring expressed bottles across security or do you have to pump after security?

I know there are bags on Amazon you can buy that are kinda like freezer bags and you can store breast milk with the ice pack. The flight attendant will give you ice if you need to store milk.
Make sure to feed while taking off and landing.
I would bring some of their favourite toys.
They give you a bassinet seat if you opted or get lucky enoughzz a. Can be helpful for baby to rest or play or just for diaper changes and stuff.
I didn’t use powder formula. I used the ready made formula.
Make sure to take nasal aspirator, medicine all that if they fall sick. God forbid.
I had all the stuff in the carry on. Including diaper and clothes and all. Just in case.

I got aptamil pre-made formula and still offered boob when ever he was fussy first even if latching didn’t always work sometimes the sucking was enough to calm him dw people were way Kinder in real life than the stuff I read on social media xxx

You can travel with a cooler bag or ice packs for the fresh milk and a thermos of hot water to heat milk or use it to rinse the pump parts. Just be sure to leave a few extra minutes for Security to check everything. Feed on take off and landing to help ear pressure. Pack a small bag that can easily be accessed for plane/airport diaper changers. You’re not going to fit your whole diaper bag in those tiny bathrooms! I use a toiletry bag and put diapers, wipes, cream and disinfectant wipes (for the dirty changing stations before I put baby down) also, an extra shirt for you!!!
